My story

Hi, my name is Megan Hobbs and I’m passionate (read: obsessed) when it comes to a household that is well slept.

 

Because I’ve been there.

 

When I had my first child, I realised that good sleep is fundamental to life.  My daughter was born with an infection that went undiagnosed for 5 weeks which severely impacted her ability to fall asleep and stay asleep.

 

It was the hardest time of my life. I was a first-time mum and didn’t feel confident even though I knew deep-down that there was something wrong. I questioned myself and thought maybe this is just what having a baby is like. I became extremely sleep deprived and was only just holding it together.

 

After my daughter was diagnosed and given treatment, she finally slept. Her sleeping changed everything, for all of us. She was the most happy, relaxed, easy baby. She was thriving—and so was I.

 

That was when I started soaking up every bit of information I could about sleep.  I wanted to continue to help my baby to sleep well, and I knew I wanted to help other parents too.

I want every parent to experience what it’s like when your baby sleeps properly. It can be the difference between surviving and thriving.
